A Notary Acknowledgment is Common
n a notary acknowledgment, we will be certifying that we have:
- Met with the document signer, in person
- Positively ID’d the document signer
- Verified the signer is signing of their own volition
- Verified that the signer acknowledges signing the document in his/her authorized capacity
- Verified the document is complete; there are no blank fields
- Recorded the acknowledgment in our journal
California All Purpose Acknowledgment
All notary acknowledgments require specific wording for us to be able to notarize your document. Most of the time, when you are required to get a document notarized, the person who created the document will have included the wording needed for your specific situation, which makes executing the document a piece of cake!
Even if your document was created in another state and does NOT have the required California wording, it’s not a problem. We have the correct certificates to use, which we will attach to your document.

Notary Acknowledgment Questions
If two of us have to sign the document, do we have to come in together?
No, multiple signers on a document can be notarized separately; in many cases, multiple document signers are not even in the same state!
What if I only have the signature page, the rest of the document is somewhere else?
The entire document must be present for us to notarize it. This is because we need to verify that there are no blank fields in the document that would render it incomplete.
