Your Favorite Types of Girl Scout Cookies
Every year the types of Girl Scout Cookies offered is adjusted, so we’re always hopeful that our favorites will be back. Sadly, a few cookies from last year are no longer available:
- Dulce de Leche-caramel chips and icing
- Thank U Berry Munch-granola based cookie
- All Abouts-chocolate dipped shortbread
The Classics are Back!
The classic shortbread, or Trefoil, is a staple in the cookie drive. Buttery and light, it’s perfect with a cup of tea!
Thin Mints are almost synonymous with Girl Scout Cookies. If your box makes it through the ride home in the car---ummmm, OK some of ours have NOT made the trip! Try freezing a box, and put it way in the back of the freezer, so it’s a fantastic surprise in July!
Mango Cremes Join Cookie Family!
Mango Cremes are a tropical vacation for your mouth! A vanilla and coconut sandwich cookie, filled with fruity goodness that takes you far away from the rainy day outside your window! The filling is flavored with cranberry, pomegranate, orange, grape, strawberry and yes, the secret ingredient you'll never guess....shitake mushrooms!!!
And Your Other Favorites Return
Thanks a Lots are a shortbread dipped in fudge. For those of you who are missing All Abouts, this is the one to try! What’s not to like, a buttery cookie AND chocolate!
Lemonades are a refreshing counterpoint to some of the sweeter cookies. Buttery shortbread laced with a bright lemon icing make them a great afternoon treat!
Peanut Butter Patties (also known as Tagalongs), have the best of all worlds: A little bit of cookies, a little bit of caramel, all coated in chocolate. Heaven!
The Peanut Butter Sandwich (also known as Do-Si-Dos) has a creamy peanut butter filling between two crunchy oatmeal cookies. Some protein, some grain, add an apple and you’ve got a well rounded snack!
Possibly the most decadent of the cookie family, Caramel Delites (also known as Samoas) have everything. A vanilla cookie with caramel topping, covered in coconut and then drizzled with chocolate. Wow!
